If the 67+ subscriptions available at the library do not include what you are seeking, or you need access from your home computer, there are several ways to find free full text and indexing. Contact us for your local log-in information.
The N.H. State Library provides access to:
EbscoHost: Magazine and newspaper index with many subscriptions available in full text in either pdf (with images) or text-only. You will need our user name (our benefactor had a flour company by this name) and zip code to log in HERE. This tutorial shows how to receive alerts from Ebsco for new issues of your favorite magazine.
Online Newsstand provides easy access to many titles that have full text and are included in EbscoHost, making it easy to keep up with new issues, online (same user/password as above)
Other digital NH Newspaper resources:
Historical newspapers published in NH can be found on microfilm at various N.H. Libraries. A list of available titles and their locations in N.H. can be searched HERE.
At Pillsbury Free Library, visitors may view and print Microfilm or pdf files of the historical weekly newspaper The Kearsarge Independent, and other local historical newspapers.
At the Library:
More recent decades of Warner Area news can be found in our newspaper clippings files, thanks to volunteers.
Current magazines and newspapers may be borrowed. Click here for a list of titles.
