Now lending e-book readers and audio book players

You can now borrow a Kindle Touch or a NookColor from the library. Use it to read any book that can be downloaded Free (such as from the NH Downloadable Books site), or one of the books we have bought and pre-loaded. Movies for April Vacation Week

Movies will be shown in the Library meeting room on Monday April 23 (3 PM), Tues. 24 (10 AM & 3 PM) , and Thursday 26 (6:30 PM). Stop in or call 456-2289 to get details of titles. (Our license forbids us to publish titles in the media). Children under 11 must be with an adult. On Thursday, you may bring your own picnic supper to eat before or during the movie.

Show Movies at the Library

The Library has bought a 1-year license from Movie Licensing USA so that any group can legally show movies at the library from any studio they represent, without further fees. Look up titles at http://www.movlic.com/library/studios.html and book the Room!

On February 6, 1892, the Pillsbury Free Library opened its doors for business and the first library cards were issued.
